Transform your Messy Desktop into an Abundant Altar. Big Change for ADHD and AuDHD.
Your desktop reflects your life and focus and keeps you going, even if the Dopamine is gone.
Do you know you can transform EVERYTHING into an Abundance altar? Yes, also your desktop.
Dear abundant creator,
If you’re ADHD, AuDHD, or multi-passionate your desktop might look a bit like this
👓 💄 My life is one long quest for my glasses, phone, lipstick, and bag. 📱
The only thing that I can always find is my computer. My computer is my sanctuary. It contains everything I need to make money.
When I open my laptop I need to step into a world of endless possibilities. But for years it felt more like Operation Certain Hell. Here’s the thing, ADHD people often struggle with object blindness.
Can’t see it? It doesn’t exist.
The result is hundreds of workbooks and Canva Templates that I truly enjoyed creating. But then mr Dopamine left the building and all the magic I created is now living a sad and forgotten life somewhere in the dark limbo of my desktop.
My ADHD brain wants to make a mess. My AuDHD brain craves clarity, structure, and direction.
Last year I decided that I couldn’t deal with the desktop craziness anymore. That happened after a meltdown caused by 3 hours of Looking for Something and stumbled upon mountains of Seriously Great and Thoroughly Forgotten Content.
So I created a 🏠 Loving Desktop House for my content that also functioned as a place of creativity and abundance. 🎁 🏆
How can you create this for yourself?
💻 Step one:
Make sure your desktop is IN the iCloud (this is for a Mac, I’m sure you can do something similar for other types).
Go to system setting > iCloud > Apps using iCloud > iCloud drive > Desktop & Documents Folders
🏔️ Step two:
Categorize: Look at the stuff on your desktop. And in your work? What categories do you see? Look at overarching categories that make sense to you.
I can come up with a million categories, but that won’t work at all. It also will never be perfect or complete.
🏆 Step 3: Focus on abundance and be intentional
My advice: look at what you want to achieve in the next 6 - 9 months that sparks Joy and a feeling of abundance and accomplishment
🥰 For instance:
I want 100 more sisters in The Real You sisterhood to create epic abundance
I want my first 100 paid subscribers on Substack
I want to grow my YouTube channel to 5K subscribers
I want to flip doom-scrolling into creating art and content for myself and my people
I regard everything on my desktop as a magnet for what I want to manifest. Ready to bring all the good stuff home.
See you soon
